You may feel brief discomfort as hair is removed, but our therapists use fast, expert technique and pre-wax numbing options when appropriate. Aftercare including cooling gel and gentle cleansers reduces soreness and calms skin effectively.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and avoid exfoliating or using retinol products for three days prior. Allow at least a quarter-inch of hair growth for effective waxing. Inform us of recent facial treatments or skin sensitivities before your session.

Some clients experience mild redness or tiny bumps immediately after waxing; these usually subside within 24 to 48 hours. We apply soothing, antibacterial aftercare and give homecare instructions to reduce risk of irritation or breakouts following treatment.

Yes—active acne, sunburn, open wounds, recent chemical peels, isotretinoin use, or certain skin conditions may prevent waxing. Please disclose medications, recent treatments and skin sensitivities during booking so we can assess suitability and recommend alternatives if needed.

Avoid hot showers, heavy makeup, exfoliation and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers, SPF and calming serums we provide or recommend. If irritation persists, contact us; we offer complimentary soothing treatments within 48 hours.
